Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using VoiCat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all versions of VoiCat available on the Apple App Store.

Description of Service

VoiCat is an iOS application that enables users to:

Record and import audio files
Transcribe audio to text using AI
Translate transcriptions into multiple languages
Generate AI-powered summaries of audio content

The service requires an active internet connection for AI processing. Local storage and playback work offline.

Subscription Plans & Quotas

VoiCat offers three tiers:

Pro	180 minutes	$6.99/mo or $49.99/yr
Max	600 minutes	$14.99/mo or $99.99/yr

      Paid-minute allowances reset with the applicable subscription allowance period, not on a fixed calendar date. Unused paid minutes do not carry into a new allowance period. When you upgrade during an active period, any unused minutes from the lower plan are added to the new plan's allowance for that period.
    

Billing & Cancellation

All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not issue refunds directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use VoiCat only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Record conversations without the knowledge and consent of all parties where required by law.
Use the service to process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or violates third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, or abuse the service's quota system.
Use automated tools to interact with the service in a manner inconsistent with normal usage.

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all audio recordings and content you process through VoiCat. By using the service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your audio solely to provide the transcription, translation, and summarization services.

The VoiCat app, including its design, code, branding, and mascot, is owned by VoiCat and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

VoiCat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

Transcriptions will be 100% accurate (accuracy depends on audio quality and language).
The service will be available without interruption.
AI-generated translations and summaries will be error-free.

AI-generated content should be reviewed before use in professional or legal contexts.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiCat and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of VoiCat after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
